We will launch the English for Employability, the joint project between the British Council and the Agence, through a conference on Friday 23rd 2016, at the Africa Hotel starting from 9 am. The conference is dedicated mainly for the trainers of English who work with the ATFP.
The project aims to improve the employment prospects for Tunisian youth in vocational education through the establishment of a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) system in vocational training centres across Tunisia.
English for Employability has an even broader purpose than that set and achieved in its first edition in 2011-2012. The first edition of English for Employability, funded through the Arab Partnership Initiative by the UK embassy, enabled 15 trainers to become master trainers who were then able to train new recruits, as well as develop skills in curriculum development and materials design.
